All roads lead to serene and cosy De-Phantom Continental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos where the effervescent Chairman of Kosofe local government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe will lead other coterie of local government officials in two- day deliberations on the Council’s fiscal policy for the year 2025 dubbed ” Budget of renewed hope”.
In a press release signed by the Chairman’s Spokesman, Comrade Oluwole Obisanya-Labia, it stated that in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s revolutionary policies and Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES+ Agenda, Kosofe Local Government Area commences a three-day budget retreat from Monday, 18th to Wednesday, 20th November 2024 at De-Phantom Continental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.
Under the dynamic leadership of Executive Chairman Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, the local government has already achieved remarkable milestones, including the rehabilitation of over 40 roads, construction of a model primary school, distribution of ten 500kVA transformers, and establishment of a new primary healthcare centre.
Other notable achievements include a 24-hour toll-free ambulance service, complimentary resident shuttle services, and regular empowerment programmes including food bank distributions.
The 2025 fiscal year budget, aptly tagged ‘Budget of Renewed Hope’, aims to build upon these successes and further enhance the quality of life for Kosofe residents through strategic planning and sustainable development initiatives.
