It was a song of praise and prayer for the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe from Ojota community residents as free house to house primary health services for the elders came to a successful conclusion.
The health programme is in solidarity with the visionary programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the THEMES+ Agenda of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. The elated senior citizens who under went series of health screenings poured encomiums on Moyo Ogunlewe Empowerment Foundation for successfully concluding its free house-to-house primary healthcare outreach for the senior citizens in Ojota ward.
The initiative, which covered a total of 24 Community Development Associations (CDAs) in the area, was met with widespread appreciation from the local residents. The foundation’s mobile medical team provided vital healthcare services and consultations directly to the doorsteps of the elderly, ensuring they had access to essential care within their own communities.
Building on this impactful engagement, the Moyo Ogunlewe Empowerment Foundation is now set to expand its reach, with the next phase of the outreach scheduled to commence in Ogudu ward from Monday, 18th November 2024.
The Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, Comrade Oluwole Obisanya-Labia explained that the community initiative, championed by the Executive Chairman of Kosofe local government, Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe exemplifies his steadfast commitment to enhancing the well being of the senior citizens of Kosofe in line with the federal and state governments’ priorities.
