The Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe on behalf of the management of the Council has sent a passionate appeal to all the residents of the urban council to cooperate with it in its soon to commence comprehensive revenue drive across the local government area.
“This initiative is crucial for the continued development and enhancement of our community infrastructure and services”, Ogunlewe explained.
The important financial exercise will commence on Monday, 23rd October, 2024 with the primary purpose of collecting outstanding rates and taxes. “To encourage prompt payment”,the Council’s boss said further, “we are offering discretionary discounts on outstanding bills, eligibility for LGA business grants, and additional benefits for compliant rate payers. Our revenue officers and ad-hoc staff will be deployed throughout the Local Government. They will be available to collect payments, provide assistance, and offer any information needed. We strongly encourage all ratepayers to clear their outstanding arrears during this period and take advantage of the incentives offered. Your cooperation is essential in keeping Kosofe thriving”.
