*The popular Kosofe free shuttle buses, a key component of the Kosofe Cares Initiative spearheaded by Executive Chairman Barr Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, are set to return to service on Monday, August 12, 2024.* The service had been temporarily suspended due to nationwide protests that began on August 1.

Residents across the seven wards of Kosofe Local Government Area – Oworonsoki, Ifako/Gbagada, Anthony, Mende, Ojota, and Ogudu – will once again benefit from this free transportation service that moves across the LGA. The initiative aims to ease the burden of commuting for local residents.

*The resumption of this free service marks a return to normalcy and demonstrates the local government’s commitment to supporting its constituents.* Commuters are encouraged to take advantage of this free service between 7am and 10am with a return journey between 4pm and 7pm. This is expected to significantly reduce transportation costs and improve mobility within the local government area for residents.
