As Nations commemorate the world food day, 2025 edition,
the visionary Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial
district, distinguished Senator Mukail Adetokunbo Abiru in
his usual demonstration of compassion and cares for people had doled
out 72,000 plus food packs to various households with 8,000 farmers equally
partaking in his empowerment programme.

The largesse has been his usual contributions to lend a helping hand
to cushion effects of food inflation nationwide that has almost
gone beyond the reach of the vulnerables and average households.

His passion for lifting the poor and vulnerables via assisting them with
various essentials have endeared him to his people.
Abiru believes that food plays a major role in alleviating poverty, as many
households couldn’t afford to meet their daily food needs, hence this annual assistance.

Speaking in previous exercise, he said, ” To attain a fair balance, we must, as a matter of duty, endeavour to share food with the needy without let or hindrance”.
