In an unprecedented and rare display of magnanimity associated with yuletide period, the effervescent Executive Chairman of Kosofe local government, Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe has lifted the creme de la creme of Kosofe branch of All Progressives party, APC by splashing a pricey sum of N11.5 million Naira on them as gift for the forth coming Christmas and New year celebration.
The yuletide largesse is a demonstration of goodwill and magnanimity of the Council’s boss. The money was shared along seven wards Under the auspices of kosofe welfare initiative, each of the seven wards within Kosofe Local Government received #1.5 million each, totalling #10.5 million, whilst the Party Local Government Executive Committee members received #1 million.
The kind gesture is aimed at ensuring that party members and executives, have enough to spend during the festive celebrations, in addition to the Chairman’s commitment to grassroots party structures.
This initiative further demonstrates Barrister Ogunlewe’s recognition of party members’ contributions whilst fostering unity during the yuletide season.
