The Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has lauded the residents of Kosofe for their unflinching supports during the event marking his 3rd year in office.
Kosofe News reliably gathered that the Kosofe Council’s helmsman has appealed to the peace loving residents to embrace dialogue while expressing their pent-up grievances. Ogunlewe was counseling the residents on the proposed Nationwide protest.
“As we usher in the month of August”, he said, “we reflect on our progress and look forward to new opportunities.
In this month, we shall continue our commitment to community development, with ongoing projects in infrastructure, education, and healthcare. We encourage all residents to participate in local initiatives and contribute to our collective growth.
However, we must address the planned nationwide protests. While we respect the right to express grievances, we strongly urge our residents to shun violent demonstrations. Such actions can lead to unwarranted consequences, jeopardizing the peace and progress we’ve labour hard to achieve.Instead, we implore you to engage in constructive dialogue. Your concerns are valid, and there are peaceful channels to address them. Let’s work together to find solutions that will benefit our community”, he advised.
Speaking further,” Kosofe Local Government remains dedicated to your welfare. Let’s make August a month of positive change and peaceful progress”.
Ogunlewe thanked all the law abiding citizens of Kosofe for their supports, resilience and cooperation throughout the 3 years his Administration .
