Kosofe Local Government Executive Chairman, Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, has commenced the distribution of Ileya cash gifts to party members across various levels this Thursday, in addition to the initial distribution of cows , rams and bags of rice during the build up to the Eid-el-Adha festival. In this initiative, LGA Exco members and ward chairmen received ₦20,000 each while Ward Exco members were given ₦10,000 each.
The chairman’s generosity extended to Kosofe Party leaders at different levels, ensuring their inclusion in the festive gesture. Barr. Ogunlewe plans to personally visit each ward during their meetings to distribute cash gifts to all members at the ward level.
This move demonstrates the chairman’s empathy, commitment to grassroots engagement and recognition of party members’ contributions.
