The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Council, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe paid a glowing tributes to all traditionalists in Kosofe and in Lagos state as a whole on the occasion marking the celebration of isese day.<\/p>\n
In a release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Comrade Oluwole Obisanya and made available to Universal News, the Council’s boss said ‘Today, we honour our culture bearers, traditionalists, and elders who have steadfastly preserved our heritage. Let us embrace our identity with pride whilst contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s diversity’.
\nSpeaking further, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe added ‘Our forebears understood that true progress stems from recognising our roots whilst embracing modernity. As we navigate contemporary challenges, the timeless wisdom of our ancestors provides invaluable guidance. The traditional institutions, oral traditions, and cultural practices preserved through \u00cc\u1e63\u1eb9\u0300\u1e63e which connects us to generations past and illuminate our path forward’.
