The education empowerment is as the previous edition aimed at assisting these promising youths in their educational pursuit thus lifting heavy yoke from their parents.<\/p>\n<p>In a Press release made available to Kosofe News by the Chairman&#8217;s spoke person, Comrade Oluwole Obisanya-Labia, it stated that this initiative, the fourth of its kind, underscores the administration&#8217;s unwavering dedication to providing opportunities for talented youth, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, to pursue academic excellence of their dream.<\/p>\n<p>The Council&#8217;s helmsman emphasised the importance of education as a pathway to greatness and success.Said he,  &#8220;If education is a barometer to measure the attainment of greatness and achieve success, then those of us at the helm of public affairs must endeavour to give the needed opportunity to talented youths, particularly the indigent ones who are willing to learn.<\/p>\n<p>The free GCE forms distribution is the latest in a series of educational initiatives spearheaded by the Kosofe administration. Earlier this year, the local government also provided free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination forms to youth seeking admission into tertiary institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Moyo Ogunlewe&#8217;s administration has embarked on projects to elevate the quality of public primary schools within the local government area, including the provision of school uniforms for all public primary school pupils, improving the basic education facilities,  building and equipping a storey building of 10 classrooms at Mosafejo Nursery and Primary School in Oworonsoki. <\/p>\n<p>Acknowledging the crucial role of preparation, Ogunlewe highlighted the ongoing tutorial classes organised to equip the GCE form recipients with the necessary knowledge and skills for the upcoming examinations. &#8220;Your success is our prayers and concern,&#8221; he assured the students.<\/p>\n<p>The local government&#8217;s efforts to enhance educational access and support have been bolstered by the generous contributions of the SOHCAHTOA Foundation, which donated 150 free GCE forms, and the OBA Foundation, which provided an additional 100 forms.<\/p>\n<p>Ogunlewe&#8217;s unwavering commitment to transforming the educational landscape in Kosofe is evident in the comprehensive approach taken by his administration.
